Shannon Shorter
Inchon ET Land Elephants (KBL) landed 29-year old American guard Shannon Shorter (193-96kg-89, college: N.Texas). played most recently at Mobis Phoebus. In 63 KBL games in South Korea he averaged impressive 16.9ppg, 5.7rpg and 4.1apg last season.
Shorter won Korean KBL championship title.
The previous (2018) summer he played at Tri-State Titans in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
Among other achievements he received Asia-Basket.com Japanese NBL All-Imports Team award back in 2016.
Shorter is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. Shorter has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Australia (Adelaide 36ers), China (Hebei Xianglan), France (Le Mans), Israel (Hapoel Kfar Saba and Afula), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Mexico (Ostioneros de Guaymas, Guerreros and Gansos), Turkey (TED Kolejliler) and Japan (Dragonflies).
He attended North Texas University until 2012 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
